  • Park and Recreation Comprehensive System-Wide Recreation Master Plan: 2007 - 2011
    Forsyth County’s system-wide recreation master plan reflects the counties objectives, needs and priorities for provision of leisure space, facilities and programs.

  • Big Creek Creenway
    The Big Creek Greenway in Forsyth County is a 12-foot wide concrete and boardwalk path meandering through the deciduous woods along the Big Creek.

  • Fowler Park Information
    Forsyth County's newest park is now open. The 85 acre Fowler Park Project located at the intersection of Highway 9 and Castleberry Rd. was funded by the $100 million Parks, Recreation and Green Space Bond.

  • Park, Recreation and Greenspace Bond Information
    A number of the proposed bond projects are in progress or have been completed as planned from the $100 million bond approved by voters in February 2008.

  • Seven New Park Acquisitions Map
    As of January 2011, the County has accepted a Proposal to do Master Plans for each of the seven new park acquisitions. The public will be invited to give feedback on the master plans later this year. Creating master plans is another step in the process of opening the new parks throughout the County.
