All Terrain Track Chair now available for use!
All Terrain Chair Project
For 2026, we raised funds to donate an All Terrain Chair (ATC) to FC Parks & Recreation like the ones shown above. The new ATC will support independence and togetherness, allowing for a more inclusive park experience for those in need of mobility assistance.
1st Track Chair is here!
The "Wheels in the Wild" program is now open at Sawnee Mountain Preserve!
The track chair opens up the great outdoors and healthier lifestyles for more individuals and families.
2nd Track Chair in the works
We are currently raising funds to donate a second ATC that is more specifically designed to fit children/smaller framed persons. We hope to see multiple vehicles in parks throughout Forsyth County someday. Help us, help more people of all ages and physical abilities discover parks in Forsyth County. Donate towards a second chair now!
How's it going?
"He didn't want to get out" - per staff of a child's first ride
"She felt in control" - parent of a young child
"Caregiver and parents were all super, super, excited too!" - staff
